YIKES!&nbsp;&nbsp;Start small, ask a few friends if they have any contacts they can introduce you to for a \u2018discovery call\u2019.&nbsp;&nbsp;Take a class and connect with at least two people.&nbsp;&nbsp;If you are a member of a professional organization, reach out to a few members for advice on your career path.&nbsp;&nbsp;Also, while LinkedIn is a little busy these days, it\u2019s still a great networking tool.&nbsp;&nbsp;Post an article a week on your area if interest, with a few relevant hashtags, engage with professionals in your career space (even just hitting the like button) and let the backend algorithm work for you \u2013 it will begin a little bit of curation of your career interest areas.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Find your career tribe:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I\u2019m a huge believer in finding your career tribe \u2013 there is something special about spending time with professionals who share your goals or who\u2019ve already navigated a level of career success you are aiming for!&nbsp;&nbsp;Sharing your career goal with some who understands and supports your path is extremely helpful!&nbsp;&nbsp;It was a significant aspect during my career journey &#8211;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Believe in your goals:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your goals are YOUR GOALS!&nbsp;&nbsp;Try not to allow others to dictate what your success will be.&nbsp;&nbsp;While it may not be easy, set your path, research your career, build your network, show up and GO!&nbsp;&nbsp;Your time is now!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Embrace Networking: I know, I know networking can be a bit nerve wrecking!
